Ongoing Speculation Grant Announcement
In 2022, in collaboration with our primary funder Jaan Tallinn, SFF selected a group of ~20 people to serve as volunteer grant-approvers, called Speculation Grantors. Speculation Grantors were awarded individual budgets to make expedited grants to charitable organizations. Speculation Grantors have a combined budget of ~$4MM. Each Speculation Grantor’s budget can increase or decrease over time based on the value of their grants as evaluated by the settlement of “impact futures” by the S-Process. *Please note that the nature of these grants is to make expedited funding available that may or may not align with the long-term vision of SFF or the S-Process grants. These grants have been evaluated and selected on an individual agent basis, instead of a committee that reflects the values of the fund at large.
